Soft and cozy silk wool blend with a plethora of Red Alder leaves lined up. Red Alder, is a noble tree of the Northwest Pacific Coast. It is like the tree version of an EMT, she shows up whenever there is a slide or flood and quickly grows up to protect and nurture the precious soil. Historically Alder species have been used as dye plants in many places, bark, cones and leaves. If you can’t tell Red Alder is one of my favorite trees.
