Colors of Life

Every plant has a spirit - often offering itself to the world for use as medicine or color, or simply beauty. These things in addition to its whole contribution to the web of it's particular ecosystem. We are all privileged to share this life with plants. That they are so gracious, to us their dependent kin, is worth noting. Thank you plants!

For many years I have been privileged to interface with plants in the dye pot, coloring silk, wool, cotton, linen and hemp. To create garments from such things is to don the mantle of the ecosystem from whence the dye came. Welcome to this new blog as I journey through the colors of nature.
